The children and residents enjoyed learning to create marbled paper this week.  Using oil based inks suspended in water, cartridge paper was laid onto the surface and peeled off, giving some really beautiful results. Today, the children had a lovely surprise when they went for their lunch. The cooks had baked special Pudsey Bear biscuits and decorated the dining hall with lots of different coloured spots! Everyone enjoyed supporting Children In Need with their Pudsey Bear ears and wearing non uniform and spots.

Yesterday, our Year 5 and 6 choir visited Grace College to perform some wartime songs in a 1940s tea dance. They were joined by other local schools and residents from local care homes as well as some war veterans. The children sang songs including ‘We’ll Meet Again’ and ‘Keep the Home Fires Burning’
