Year 3 have been learning how to ink up a slab and use a roller to create different effects. During plan, do and review, the boys and girls made a bus in the outdoor area. It even had stairs as it was a double decker bus. The children said it was the number 10 bus and it was going to Newcastle. They made signs and tickets for the bus. Everyone worked together as a team.

Year 6 are planning to write the diary of an evacuee child, David, during World War II. To prepare for this, they used props and artifacts to generate discussion and ideas for writing. They enjoyed the activity as it helped them imagine what events might have happened in his life.
