Angel Court – Harlows Angels

Over the next few weeks, as well as continuing our creative project with printmaker Hannah, we will be helping with the big gardening jobs at Angel Court. They are lucky to have such a beautiful space but strength and energy is required to keep it maintained. Well that’s an easy fix when you have such enthusiastic children. They worked so hard clearing the beds so Tom can put out his plants now the weather has warmed.

Whilst that was happening Hannah worked with the residents and children to create screen prints inspired by nature. This week it was warm enough for us all to be outside. The ladies put on their sun hats, Julie provided refreshments and then Mal, one of the managers appeared with a brand new lawn mower for us! John was thrilled and got started straight away. Tom had an appointment this afternoon but we hope he’ll get a pleasant surprise when he gets home. Being able to help others in their community makes our children feel so proud and so they should, they did an amazing job.
