Rainy Days

In preparation for their Forest School adventures, Reception children practiced turning waterproofs out the right way and putting them on. Such a useful skill that so that they can be independent and we can maximise our time outside no matter what the weather. For some it took a lot of perseverance, but the sense of satisfaction once achieved was clear to see on their faces. Those pupils that are already able to manage zips helped to show the other children how to do it, so everyone felt involved and supported.

Outside, feeling warm, dry and accomplished the children fed the hens. Each child was then given a willow frond to take home and plant, as a reward for their hard work.
