You’re Only Safe if…..

Playing a favourite boundary game is a whole different experience in the snow. Reception kept warm by finding the different landmarks around the site. This week as an additional challenge they were given more than one instruction, for example You’re only safe if you go the the Big Cherry Tree then the Big Blue Carpet. This asks the children to take in more information with the added benefit of keeping them moving. Once back in the classroom we all got nice and warm watching Stickman which is part of our topic for music and Forest School.

The Risk Principle: Forest School offers learners the opportunity to take supported risks appropriate to the environment and to themselves.
