We have had a fun and festive week in Reception. Read our poem to find out more.
Christmas week has been magical, full of cheer,
With busy little hands and smiles ear to ear.
We crafted with care, both big and small,
Christmas tree cards and calendars lined our wall.
Inspired by forest school and Stick Man too,
We drew stick families, each special and new.
Baubles were made for the Christmas tree bright,
And paper plate angels shone with delight.
We shared the story of the Gingerbread Man,
Then baked our own treats , the best we can!
With cinnamon, ginger, festive and sweet,
The smell filled our classroom, a Christmassy treat.
We sprinkled reindeer dust, sparkly and bright,
To guide Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve night.
Our week ended with a party so fun,
And a special visit from Santa , what a wonderful one!
