This morning, children from Reception to Year Six were treated to a special Christmas music workshop thanks to staff from Gateshead Music Service.
We all entered into the festive spirit with a school singalong of several festive classic including ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’. The children enjoyed playing different musical instruments to accompany the band. Two children dressed up as Santa and told some hilarious jokes to make us all laugh. Mr McMann played the part of the miserable Grinch and seemed to enjoy his role throwing snowballs at the children. Even the teachers joined in with some singing! It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved and the experience certainly helped us to get excited for the big day! Thank-you once again to the music service for making us all smile.
