Toddling with the Hens

Miss Rowe brought two of our hens, Nora and Silkie, to visit the Toddler group on Friday. As you can see the children were bold and the hens enjoyed all the attention. They even got some treats too. The children were eager to touch the feathers and were surprised at how soft the hens are. We hope that some of these children will be helping to look after the school chickens as they journey through school.
