Reading Stars!

Reading continues to be a key focus in school – it opens so many doors and allows the children to explore other curriculum subjects. But, perhaps more importantly, it allows them to immerse themselves in book, magazines, comics and newspapers simply for the pleasure of reading.

Our two, KS2 reading programmes continue to be fundamentally important in developing fluency, comprehension and a love of reading.

This week’s class stars:

Reading Plus: Class 6B with a comprehension score of 77.9%

Accelerated Reader: Class 5A with a comprehension score of 81.9%
