Gingerbread Man
To celebrate World Book Day, we have been looking at Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales all week, our favourite stories have been 3 Billy Goats Gruff and The Gingerbread Man. The children received a letter from the Old Women in the story of the Gingerbread Man asking for help as her Gingerbread Men had run away and she needed more for dinner. The children followed her special recipe and saved the day!
On World Book Day we loved looking at all of the fantastic costumes that the children wore from their favourite stories. We were very lucky to have the Year 3’s come downstairs to read to us.
