Kung Hei Fat Choi

This week, the boys and girls in Reception have been learning all about Chinese New Year.  We read a story about the Chinese zodiac and learnt that this year is the year of the Tiger.  We had lots of fun during our choosing times playing in our role play Chinese restaurant, painting blossom pictures, making lanterns and dancing dragons and building models of The Great Wall of China.  At snack time we were lucky enough to taste some Chinese food.  We had a great time finding out about Chinese new year and learnt so many interesting facts.
