Children in Need 2021

On Friday 19th November, we celebrated Children in Need across school. The children came in their spots, dress up costumes or Pudsey accessories to raise money for the 2021 Appeal Show. We all learnt the meaning behind Children in Need and how it originated through our class assembly time. Everyone now recognises and understands where our donations will go and the kind of support it will offer to many children across the UK and worldwide in times of need. Everyone has also been completing Pudsey colourings, making cakes, having a teddy bears picnic, and joining in physical challenges at lunchtime.

Splat the Teacher

To end the day, the children had the opportunity to take part in Splat the Teacher during platinum play. This involved numerous wet sponges being throw at a brave set of teachers. Miss Nelson, Mrs Lewis, Mr Hollingworth, Mr Allen and Miss Hamilton all braved the sponge! We were all freezing, soaking but most of all laughing and raising vital funds for charities who are supported by Children in Need. The children all  had a great and memorable fundraising day!

Our Harlow Green totalizer is still to be finalised so keep an eye on our social media page for further updates of the amount we raised. Thank you to everyone for your kind donations and participation in this event – Together we can change young lives!
