A group of Year 3 and Year 4 girls took part in the Gymnastics and Cheerleading Festival at the Gateshead Leisure Centre. It was brilliant to watch all the routines from the local primary and secondary schools. Here are some pictures of their wonderful performance.
The children filled Angel Court with song at our Christmas Carol Service. Residents were absolutely thrilled, joining in with the singing and chatting with the children. Even their eldest resident aged 103, came and joined us, she said she looks forward to it every year.
Well done to all of the boys and girls in Reception. They were all fantastic when performing their Nativity called ‘A Miracle in Town’. The children sang the songs beautifully and used their loud voices to say their speaking parts. Everyone looked great in their costumes and enjoyed dressing up. T
The Year 5 and 6 children have enjoyed performing their Christmas Carol Concert for parents, grandparents and friends. They have worked hard to learn their lines; words to songs; and poems to perform. They hope that you enjoyed the performance and would like to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!
In Year 3 the children have been creating abstract self-portraits in the style of Paul Klee. The boys and girls focused on use of hot and cold colours and enjoyed learning about abstract art.
Years 3 and 4 performed their nativity production ‘Lights, Camel, Action!’ this week. The boys and girls sang, danced and acted brilliantly, showing what a talented group of children they really are!
The children in Year 4 really enjoyed their Christmas lunch today’. They had fun eating their meal wearing their Christmas jumpers.
Year 1 enjoyed their Christmas lunch. They enjoyed turkey followed by a delicious pudding. The boys and girls looked fantastic evening in their Christmas jumpers.
Year 2 are really excited about Christmas and have been learning about how Christians celebrate and prepare. Today they have been creating their own amazing Advent wreaths.
The children in Year 6 enjoyed their last Christmas meal at Harlow Green. They ate whilst sharing jokes from their Christmas crackers. Their Christmas jumpers were pretty spectacular too!
