This week, the robotics team took part in a VEX IQ tournament at Nissan. Our team of ten, called ‘The Green Machine’, competed against the clock to complete skills challenges, and they teamed up with other schools to complete the tasks as a team. They worked fantastically with the other schools, communicating and cooperating well to create a joint strategy. Although they didn’t bring a trophy back this year, they competed well and showed confidence and composure under pressure. In-between challenges, the team enjoyed some relaxation and socialising, which mainly consisted of showing off their dancing skills. The team had a brilliant day, and they can’t wait until next year.
