Harvest Assembly

This week, the children enjoyed a wonderful assembly led by Reverend Elaine all about Harvest. The theme focused on being grateful and thankful — not only for the food we eat, but also for all the people who help bring it to our tables.

Reverend Elaine shared the fascinating journey of a potato to a crisp, helping the children think about each stage and the many hands involved along the way — from the farmers who grow the crops to the workers who prepare and package the food.

The children joined in beautifully, singing the much-loved Harvest song “Cauliflowers Fluffy”, filling the hall with smiles and voices of thanks.

We have also begun our school Harvest collection this week, gathering donations to support those in our community who need a little extra help. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed — your generosity makes a real difference!
