Wet Days and Adventurous Play

Year 1 were thrilled today to have the Year 6 Outdoor Workers come and help them to build a shelter. They used the rope lines to hang various tarps and netting. The children wanted to make it cosy so put carpets on the ground. Everyone worked together and they all tried to see if they could fit inside. As you can see they were very proud of their construction. 

Next was onto the field for some tyre racing, this got everybody warmed up and fired up their competitive spirit. Everyone got muddy but had a lovely time.
