It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas has officially begun this week in our classroom! The children started this week by listening to a video from Santa explaining that he would like to receive a letter in Lapland from the children regarding Christmas presents. The children then enjoyed exploring our new Christmas post office, writing their letters to Santa and posting them in our post box. They have also enjoyed weighing presents and designing their own Christmas cards and stamps. This week the children have been a great help at decorating our classroom and their saltdough baubles using paint, sequins and glitter. On Thursday the children learned about advent, opened our Nursery advent calendars and have had a visit from 1 very naughty elf named Elvis. The children have also continued to practise for their Nativity this week and created and wrapped presents in Santa’s workshop.
