Reading Corner

As we approach the half-term holiday, I always start thinking about the extra time that I might have for reading – especially if it’s nice and I can read outside. I love picture books and think that they should be shared at all ages.

Shh I Have a Plan: (Age 3+) This is a hilarious picture book, where the birds have plan after plan that disastrously go wrong. Will they ever find a solution?

A Bowl Full of Peace: (Age 6+) This book feels incredibly relevant at the moment with the children hearing about war in the news and other media. An incredibly poignant picture book – based upon a true story.
