The Art of Nature

The children enjoyed an afternoon getting creative in our Forest School. They worked together selecting their own natural materials, then bringing their images to life in a stick frame. This is such a beautiful activity that the children enjoy all year around. Helping them to observe the changes nature offers as we move through the seasons.

Collaborative art is also a fantastic way to learn about negotiating and brain storming ideas. During reflection the children shared their proudest moments and the things that they found challenging.

Principle 2: Forest School takes place in a woodland or natural wooded environment to support the development of a relationship between the learner and the natural world.

Article 29 – We all have the right to develop our personalities, talents and abilities.
