Well, that’s the end of our seventh week of home learning, and ending with a bank holiday and sunshine! We hope you are spending today celebrating (and learning lots about about) VE Day! We have been so impressed by (and proud of) your writing that has been sent in for the writing challenge. It looks like you have tried incredibly hard to include all the things you were asked to include. Look out for our new writing challenge on Monday.
It has also been great to see how hard you’re working online. We have another 10 bronze certificates and 1 pupil achieving a silver certificate on Mathletics – Well Done! We’ve also had an amazing 8 certificates on Lexia!
Your teachers have been very busy too! Mrs Chapman enjoyed celebrating her birthday this week, it was a different birthday than normal but she enjoyed celebrating with her family at home. Miss Bull had a surprise this week – her dog unexpectedly had 4 puppies! All the pups are doing well and are beginning to settle with their mum (and Miss Bull is beginning to calm down from the shock of this!). Mrs Hamilton has been busy decorating her house with her daughter ready for VE Day! See below for pictures of our activities too!
