Run Run as fast as you can….

This week Nursery continued their Christmas m activities and baked gingerbread men.

We listened to the traditional tale, the gingerbread man, and joined in with the repeated refrain “run run as fast as you can, you can’t fetch me in the gingerbread man”. We then worked as a team to combine all of the ingredients to make our own gingerbread men. We needed; flour, butter, brown sugar, ground ginger and eggs. We weighed out the ingredients, mixed them together and then rolled out the dough before stamping in our cutters. We baked them in the oven (luckily these ones didn’t make a run for it). We enjoyed decorating them with icing and smarties.
