This week, Reception class have been buzzing with excitement as they explored the wonderful world of minibeasts!
We started the week by reading Mad About Minibeasts by Giles Andreae, which inspired us to dive deeper into the fascinating lives of these tiny creatures. The children showed fantastic creativity by writing their own minibeast descriptions and drawing detailed pictures.
Outside, they worked together to create beautiful transient art using natural materials and even painted rocks to look like their favourite minibeasts! We also enjoyed going on a minibeast hunt in our outdoor area.
In Reception we are definitely mad about minibeasts too!
