It has been a very busy half term for our girls football team. They have taken part in 2 competitions over the last couple of weeks.
The first one was held at Gateshead Power League in Dunston there were 32 teams who took part. We played some group games which we won our group and then it was the knockout matches we did really well and finished 3rd overall this an unbelievable achievement bringing the bronze medals back to school.
The last couple of weeks the girls have been taking part in the Felling schools Girls Football League which we have qualified for the final which was held at Harlow Green yesterday. The girls worked really hard in every game and gave their all we finished 3rd overall and again took the bronze medals.
The girls have worked so hard this year in their before and after school football sessions.
