Halloween fun!

This week, we have been getting scary! We scooped out the slimy innards of our pumpkins and then carved faces into them. We then chopped up vegetables to make pumpkin soup. Some children thought it was delicious and asked for more but others were not so sure. We read ‘Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson and then some children dressed up in Halloween costumes and made potions. There has been lots of Halloween colouring in as well as threading black wool onto paper plates to make spider’s webs.
