Fantastic Frogs

This week in Reception, the children have enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a Frog. We started the week by reading ‘Growing Frogs’ by Vivian French and discussed how a frog changes in its different stages. The children have enjoyed reading facts about frogs and creating their own in the cut and stick area. The children have also had a go at mixing blue and yellow to make different shades of green. They have been fascinated at the different shades they have made and what happens when you add more blue or yellow paint. The children are very proud of their paintings, take a look at some below.
