Basketball Gold!

Our Year 4 Basketball Team bounced, passed and shot to glory this week, winning their tournament and coming first.  They competed against 9 other local Gateshead and Low Fell schools.

The children have been attending clubs and then an early morning coaching session with Mr McMann in the run up to the event and it was fantastic to see all their hard work pay off.  In a nail-biting final, they had to wait to the final match between two other schools to see if they’d secured first or second – but gold was the order of the day!

Well done to all and a fantastic return to competitive basketball for Harlow Green!
