We are all different

This week in Reception we began our topic for the Autumn term – Marvellous Me. The children have been learning about self-portraits and exploring the concept that everyone is different and unique. They have used different forms of media to draw their own self-portraits using powder paint and oil pastels, as well as looking in mirrors to find out their eye and hair colours. During forest school time, the children made their own salt dough to create natural material faces using items they found in the Early Years garden such as; stones, sticks and leaves.  Have a look below at our fantastic Reception artists and their wonderful self-portrait;
