Year Two have had a fantastic day rocking out to celebrate the launch of Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS).
The boys and girls came to school dressed in their best leather jackets, bandanas and, of course, guitars ready to rock and roll for Rockstars Day.
To begin, the children learned what Times Tables Rock Stars is, the different game modes they can play in and how they can improve their rock status. Then, the children had the opportunity to design their own rockstar, choosing the coolest outfit, hair and guitar to create their character. Throughout the day, the children have practised their 2 and 10 times-tables (and related division facts) using the TTRS app and by completing timed challenges while listening to rock music.
Year Two have thoroughly enjoyed competing against one another in arena mode and as part of their class battle, but which class will win? Let battle commence!
