Flower power!

In Science, we have been learning about the features and properties of plants.  From the roots, stems, leaves and flowers, each part plays a key role in helping the plant survive and produce more plants.

This week we started an experiment looking at the key elements plants need to survive, including light and water.  To test this, we have placed plants in various locations around the classroom including on the window ledge and in a cupboard, and then having some that are watered and some that are not.

We have made our predictions and over the next couple of weeks will see what happens to the plants……
