Passover Celebrations

In R.E. Year 6 have been learning about why Jewish people celebrate the story of Passover.

The children enjoyed finding out about the different plagues that were sent and discussing which they felt would be the worst. However, once they understood the serious nature and the repercussions they realised the story took on a different light. They then considered how Jewish families celebrate the story today and produced their own Seder Plate – considering the different elements that would make up the Seder meal and what each represented.
