This half term, 40 brave children from Years 5 and 6 took part in the Gateshead School Sports Partnership annual Dance Festival at The Glasshouse in Gateshead.
There are no auditions for this – anyone can take part – and getting up on stage in front of hundreds of other children, parents and family members is a very brave thing to do – however the children were AMAZING!
After weeks of commitment to rehearsals, the children jumped, clapped, moved and grooved to a medley of tracks from local artists Jade, Perrie and Sam Fender.
Dressed in black and white, it is always fantastic to see so many brave children having such a great time – and when their 5 minutes is over, all they want to do is to do it again!!!
The dance was even immortalised in egg form for the Easter Egg Competition!
