All kinds of bags

This week in their Art lessons, the children in Year 2 have been using their creative skills to design and make a bag. They began by exploring how to print with fruit using different coloured paints. They were then set a challenge to draw some designs of their own. They thought about which two fruits they would like to use and the pattern or shape they would like to create. Once the final design was chosen, the children then copied this carefully onto their design sheets. Everyone took great care to replicate their designs onto their bags which looked fantastic! All of our leaning linked nicely to our termly topic of ‘Happy Life, Healthy Life’.
