This week in Nursery we have been looking at signs of Spring.
As part of our topic, we have been learning all about signs of Spring. We started the week by going on a Spring walk around our school grounds. We noticed lots of buds on the trees, blossom, insects starting to fly around us, green leaves growing, daffodils and other winter flowers growing.
In order to observe growing, we have been growing cress. We first watched a video about to understand what cress is and then learnt how to plant the cress seeds by following a set of instruction. We gathered the correct equipment, soaked cotton wool with water, spread the seeds and put them in the window with plenty of sunlight to observe them growing.
