Fabulous Finches!

This week, year 4 launched their new English text ‘I Am Henry Finch’. This is a fantastic picture book about the power of thought. The children have explored the different presentational devices and how these compare to previous English texts. They have also explored the emotions of the main character Henry and discussed the importance of time to reflect on your own thoughts. To launch the text, the children created their own finch family using ink pads to make fingerprint birds.
