KS1 Athletics Festival

This week, some of the children in Year Two attended an Athletics Festival at Gateshead College. 

Along with other schools, the children had the opportunity to take part in a range of athletics activities to develop their skills in running, jumping and throwing. The boys and girls worked their way around the different stations, exploring the different activities. They worked well together in the team work challenges and showed great sportsmanship when cheering each other on. It was a fantastic experience and the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the event.
