The children in Year 2 were excited to find out which book they would be reading in English this half term. They were given clues which supported them to make a mask of a character from a well known story. During the lesson, the children made interesting guesses, some thought the mask looked like the Gruffalo because it was brown, other children said it might be the Three Billy Goats Gruff because the character had horns. When the book was revealed, some children agreed that they had guessed correctly. The beast masks looked fantastic. Everyone enjoyed looking at the front cover and reading the blub to find out more. Many children talked about the story, saying that they had a book at home or had watched a film version. Well done everyone.
