Chinese New Year

This week, our Reception class enjoyed a delightful experience focused on the Lunar New Year. The children had the chance to taste a variety of traditional Chinese foods, such as noodles with chopsticks, crispy spring rolls, and prawn crackers. This culinary adventure allowed them to explore and appreciate different cultural practices. Alongside the food tasting, the children participated in role-playing activities within our Chinese restaurant setup, taking turns as chefs and customers, which enriched their imaginative play. They also came together for storytime, where we read the tale of “Dragon Dance,” highlighting the traditions linked to the festival.

Article 31 -We have the right to  play and take part in cultural activities.
