Reception Explore STEM Week!

As part of our whole school STEM Week, Reception had a fantastic time taking part in exciting science activities. We were very lucky to be visited by Mrs Old, our Science Leader, who helped the children explore forces through fun, hands-on learning. The children investigated pushes and pulls using a variety of transport themed activities. They made paper aeroplanes and spinning paper helicopters, watched an exciting balloon rocket demonstration, and explored friction by rolling toy cars down ramps covered with different surfaces. Reception had great fun while learning early scientific concepts and working alongside our very own science expert.
