This week, our pupils have been learning all about collaboration – what it means, why it’s important, and how to do it effectively. Through a series of fun and thoughtful activities, the children explored the different ways we can work together to achieve a shared goal.
One of the key challenges involved lining up in height order and by date of birth – without speaking! This activity highlighted the importance of non-verbal communication and teamwork. It was wonderful to see pupils using gestures, facial expressions and problem-solving strategies to succeed.
The children also enjoyed playing collaborative games such as Guess the Leader and Popcorn Counting, both of which encouraged active participation, careful observation and group cooperation.
We were so impressed by the way pupils supported one another, listened carefully, and worked as a team. Collaboration is a vital life skill, and it was fantastic to see it in action across the classroom!
