Greek drama

Year 4 have begun working on their new text in English. Along side their History topic about the Ancient Greeks, they are studying Greek myths in English. As many of them are already familiar with characters from Greek myths, they were particularly excited to be using this as a stimulus for their work. After being introduced to the myth of Perseus and Medusa, the children watched a short animation of the story. From this, they created their own dramatisation of the myth. They made mask and props for each character, and created their own dialogue and actions. They really threw themselves into their roles with some very dramatic acting and action!
