I am Henry Finch!

This term, our class text is a short book, with few words and a great set of illustrated pictures and images.

It tells the story of Henry Finch who becomes the first finch have his own thoughts – sparking the imagination in the other finches to fly off and experience life for themselves too.

We launched the book this week with the children creating their own fingerprint finch families and discussing the different thoughts and feelings they might experience throughout the day.

We also talked about how noise and busyness can affect our thoughts and how sometimes we all need a little bit of quiet to hear ourselves think!
