Weather Wheels

This week Year One have enjoyed learning about different kinds of weather.

The children began by watching  videos of sun, snow, wind, rain, fog and clouds, and imagining how they would feel if they were to experience each kind of weather. The children then came up with different actions to help them remember what the weathers were. After this, the pupils learnt specific symbols for each weather and drew them on a weather wheel according to the label. They all tried very hard to Fred talk the weather words. Some of the pupils have used their weather wheels to show the weather each day. We were all very excited to move our class weather wheel to the snow symbol today! All of the children were proud of their weather wheels. Well done everyone!
