Printing with Primary Colours

This week has seen the start of our art block of work.  It all started with learning about primary colours.

Every child coloured a red, yellow and blue primary colour wheel.  The colouring was so neat!   Next the children investigated how they could print with primary colours.  They used sponges and stamps to print with showing different patterns and colours.  They noticed that sometimes the colours mixed together to make the secondary colours – purple, orange and green.  The children have had a fantastic time experimenting with primary colours and their art work is both bright and colourful.  Take a look!
