Cinderella book launch

In English this week, the children in Year 3 were set a challenge.  Miss McCall and Mrs Chapman asked them to use some clues to help them guess a very famous character from a book.

Firstly, some children were dressed up in an apron and were given cleaning items such as a brush, feather duster, rubber gloves and a tin of polish.  The second clue appeared on the desk; it was an envelope addressed to Year 3 with an invitation from the royal palace to a party.  Thirdly, the children were challenged to make a crown.  After lots of discussion, everyone decided that the mystery character was Cinderella.
