Coding using Scratch

In Year 3, the children have been using the program Scratch to develop their coding skills. They have explored creating code to move the sprite and altered the costume of their sprites.

The boys and girls have identified that event blocks enable them to start a program in different ways. This has enabled them to investigate the most appropriate way to start a program for a purpose.

Using the program, the children have explored creating sound and used this to write code to build a sequence of commands to enable an instrument to play a piece of music.
