Learning about Moses

In RE, the boys and girls in Year 3 have been learning about the importance of Moses to people of the Jewish faith. They enjoyed listening to the story before ordering the events and verbally retelling it to their partners. The children were all very curious and asked some great questions along the way.

They then reflected on the 10 commandments given to Moses at the top of Mount Sinai and shared what they personally believe is important. Each child subsequently created their own rules to live by.

The children then learnt about the Jewish harvest festival of Shavuot. They decorated flowers to show the five rituals associated with the celebration.
