Greek Myths

This term in Year 4, we have been learning all about Ancient Greek myths in English. The children have read and listened to lots of different Greek myths including Perseus and Medusa, Theseus and the Minotaur and Jason and the Golden Fleece. The children have enjoyed learning all about the different monsters in the story and how the heroes defeated them!

This week, the children have been designing their own hero, villain and creature ready to write their very own Greek myths in the next few weeks. The children came up with back stories for their characters (e.g. why they are now a villain/hero/creature) and began to describe them. The most enjoyable was the creatures, which we made by combining different animals together. Have a look at their had work below!
