Perfect Percentages!

For the last two weeks in maths, Year 6 have been learning about fractions, decimals and percentages. Firstly, the children had to become familiar with percentage, decimal and fraction equivalents. Knowing these equivalences allowed the children to compare and order a them.  The children then used their knowledge to calculate a range of percentages. After calculating percentages of numbers and amounts, the children were able to apply this to problem solving. This is one of the more difficult skills to master in Year 6 and they have all worked extremely hard. Well done to them!
