Excellent E-Safety

This week, in Computing, we have celebrated Safer Internet Day. We learnt what the day is for and the different way we can support it.

As a class we looked at the amazing things the internet can provide us with. However, we also explored the dangers and fear that can come with using the internet. The children were able to identify the dangers and come up with a range of solution to these issues.

We then took part in different activities to further explore Safer Internet Day.

5A played a game of pick a side where they needed to choose between two tech options and explain why their chosen side was better.

5B ranked a range of online safety scenarios from what they were most confident to deal with to least confident. This created a great peer discussion about what you can do to help others, with their e-safety.
