London’s Burning! London’s Burning!

This week, Year Two have started to read their new book – Vlad and The Great Fire of London. The children looked at houses from 1666 and compared them to houses built today. The children recognised that houses built in the past were very close together, made out of wood and a little bit wonky.

Then, the boys and girls made their own house. They looked carefully at the design of houses built over 350 years ago and used these for inspiration.

Once complete, the children attached their design to a cereal box to create a 3D model. Have a look at their fantastic creations below!
